What is TopCut VGC?
TopCut VGC is a free, unofficial iOS companion app for competitive Pokémon Champions VGC play. It bundles a Champions-legal Pokédex, a doubles damage calculator, a team builder, speed tiers, nine training quiz modes, tournament data, and a Glicko-2 rated ranked ladder into one app.
Is TopCut VGC free?
Yes. The beta is completely free with every tool unlocked. There are no ads and no tracking.
How do I join the beta?
Install Apple's free TestFlight app on your iPhone, then open the join link above or scan the QR code, and tap Install.
What is Pokémon Champions?
Pokémon Champions is the competitive Pokémon battling game where the VGC doubles format is played. TopCut VGC only surfaces Pokémon, moves, items, and mechanics that are legal in Champions.
Does it work on Android?
Not yet. The beta is iOS only. An Android version is on the roadmap.
Is TopCut VGC official?
No. TopCut VGC is an unofficial fan-made app and is not affiliated with Nintendo, Game Freak, or The Pokémon Company.
Do I need an account?
Almost the entire app works without an account. You only need one for the ranked ladder, and you can delete it in-app at any time.
